Indexing government scandals one at a time
President Akufo-Addo has over 50 relatives occupying various positions in his government. In a press statement purposely held to address the "family and friends" nature of the NPP government, the NDC through its National Communications Officer, Sammy Gyamfi, listed all the family and friends in Akufo-Addo's government.
The list contained President's Akufo-Addo's daughter, cousins, nephews, sons and daughters in law and many other relatives. The list also included the entire nuclear family of Nana Asante Bediatuo who is a cousin to the President and is also his Executive Secretary.
