Peter Mac Manu in conflict of interest at GPHA

The four Unions with the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA) has asked government to investigate the board Chairman of GPHA, Peter Mac Manu. They are asking the President to as a matter of urgency to let the board Chairman to step down.

In an interview with Radio Ghana’s Stephen Aggrey, the Union Chairman John Aseph alleged that, Mr. Mac Manu has allowed his wife to take over ticketing staff travels and the authority is being priced at cut throat prices.

They said Mr. Mac Manu has seven companies within the port and is also facilitating a contract on a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) project where he is requesting management to let the company of the project to pay two hundred thousand for 25 years.
